'پرویز شیخ طادی' روز جمعه در گفت وگو با خبرنگار فرهنگی ایرنا افزود: مخاطبان با فیلم های دفاع مقدس همچون 'روزهای زندگی' در اكران برخورد خوبی داشتند اما در نهایت اكران این اثر سینمایی راضی كننده نبود.

وی گفت: شرایط سینمای ایران در بخش مخاطب مساعد نیست و 'روزهای زندگی' نیز قربانی این شرایط شد.

كارگردان فیلم سینمایی 'روزهای زندگی' یادآور شد: درباره نحوه اكران فیلم های دفاع مقدس خیلی سخن گفته ایم اما واقعا از دست ما این موضوع خارج شده و سینمای كشور با شرایط ایده آل فاصله دارد.

وی ادامه داد: در عرصه سالن های سینمایی در وضعیت بلاتكلیفی قرار داریم و مخاطب به خاطر عدم ساخت سالن های سینمایی بر اساس تناسب جمعیت، برای رفتن به سالن هزینه بسیاری را متقبل می شود كه این امر در ریزش مخاطبان تاثیر بسزایی داشته است.

به گزارش دیسكاوری نیوز، ستاره شناسان دانشگاه آریزونا از وجود پدیده عجیبی بر روی سیاره مریخ موسوم به 'آسیدالیا' خبر می دهند كه با این سیاره حركت می كند.

فضاپیمای اودیسه مریخ ناسا تلاش خواهد كرد تا از این ابر با دوربینی كه می تواند به طور همزمان در نور مرئی و فروسرخ عكس بگیرد تصویر برداری كند.

محققان می گویند این پدیده نه تنها از نظر ظاهری بلكه از نظر دمایی نیز ساختاری شبیه ابر دارد.

صرف نظر از آنكه این پدیده دقیقا چیست، مهم آن است كه اندازه آن در حال كوچك شدن است.

این امر موجب شده برخی از دانشمندان باور كنند این پدیده نوعی رویداد موقت است.

این پدیده ممكن است یك ابر غبار ناشی از تاثیر یك شهاب سنگ، یك سامانه طوفانی عظیم و یا فقط یك نور باشد.

به گزارش ایرنا به نقل از منابع خبری محلی، انفجار بمب در نزدیكی یك خودروی پلیس در حومه پیشاور مركز ایالت خیبر پختونخوا منجر به كشته شدن دو نیروی پلیس در این شهر شد.

در این انفجار كه در ابتدای جاده كوهات بوقوع پیوست چهار نفر زخمی شدند كه توسط نیروهای امدادی به بیمارستان پیشاور منتقل شدند.

در این حادثه خودروی ون پلیس منهدم و به چند خودروی دیگر خساراتی وارد شد.

تاكنون هیچ گروهی مسوولیت این حمله تروریستی را برعهده نگرفته است.

مقامات محلی، گروه طالبان را مقصر اصلی در این گونه حملات تروریستی معرفی می كنند.

دكتر' مینو حمیدی ' روز جمعه در گفت و گو با خبرنگار اجتماعی ایرنا افزود: استرس جزو اختلالات روانی است كه بسیاری از افراد جامعه دچار آن هستند.

وی با بیان اینكه استرس باعث انقباض لایه داخلی رگ های خونی می شود، اظهار داشت: این عاملی برای بروز حمله های قلبی و سكته است.

این متخصص داخلی با اشاره به اینكه سیگاری ها بیشتر دچار استرس هستند، ادامه داد:هورمون های استرس باعث افزایش سطح گلوكز خون شده و بروز دیابت را نیز افزایش می دهد.

حمیدی افزود: استرس زمینه ساز بروز ابتلا به بیماری های مختلف است و افرادی كه در جوانی دچار این اختلال روانی می شوند در دوران پیری از دردهای بدنی بیشتر رنج می برند.

وی تصریح كرد: تحقیقات ثابت كرده است جوانانی كه با افزایش فشارخون به استرس واكنش نشان می دادند، در سنین چهل سالگی بیشتر در معرض ابتلا به فشارخون قرار می گیرند.

این پزشك، تغذیه مناسب و تغییر در شیوه زندگی را مهم ترین راه پیشگیری و كنترل استرس بیان كرد و افزود: ورزش كردن باعث می شود فشارهای روحی فرد كاهش یابد.

به گزارش خبرنگار سیاسی ایرنا، 'محمدرضا میرتاج‌الدینی' شامگاه چهارشنبه در پایان جلسه هیات دولت در جمع خبرنگاران درباره حضور رییس‌جمهوری در مجلس برای پاسخگویی به پرسش های نمایندگان مجلس افزود: سووال از رییس جمهوری كه برای نخستین بار طی هشت دوره مجلس مطرح ‌شد، یك مرحله از مراحل تمرین دموكراسی در كشور بود.

وی با بیان اینكه قرار بود جلسه به شكل صمیمی برگزار شود، خاطرنشان كرد، در غیر این صورت ممكن بود آثار و تبعاتی در نتیجه گفت‌وگوی چالشی و بحث‌های سیاسی ایجاد شود اما رییس مجلس با مدیریت خوب خود، فضا را كنترل كرد.

معاون پارلمانی رییس جمهوری با یادآوری اینكه تلاش ما بر مطرح شدن این سووال در كمیسیون‌های تخصصی و حضور نیافتن رییس‌جمهوری در مجلس بود، تصریح كرد:ممكن بود حضور رییس جمهوری در صحن مجلس برخی تبعات و حواشی به دنبال داشته باشد اما وقتی با وجود انصراف برخی نمایندگان با اصرار هیات‌رییسه مواجه شدیم، اقای احمدی نژاد پذیرفت كه در مجلس حاضر شود و به پرسشها پاسخ دهد.

میرتاج‌الدینی افزود: حق طبیعی نمایندگان مجلس است كه در یك جامعه آزاد و نظام ریاستی - پارلمانی، از رییس جمهوری سووال كنند و احمدی نژاد نیز با حضور خود نشان داد كه برای این حق احترام قائل است.

وی در عین حال با بیان اینكه با پایان سال باید پرونده این سووال را خاتمه یافته بدانیم، طرح پرسش از رییس جمهوری را سبب ارتقای سیاسی جامعه دانست.

وی اظهار امیدواری كرد حضور رییس جمهوری در مجلس ، پایانی بر چنین چالش‌هایی میان مجلس و دولت باشد و در سال آینده تعامل سازنده میان دولت و مجلس بویژه مجلس نهم را شاهد باشیم.

دریك نگاه كلی به آمار گمرك جمهوری اسلامی، تراز تجاری ایران و هند از دهه 80 تاكنون هموراه سیر صعودی داشته و اگر چه واردات از هند به ایران در مقاطعی كاهش یافته اما صادرات ایران به هند همواره رشد داشته است.

از فروردین ماه سال 80 تا بهمن ماه سال 89 ایران نزدیك به 12 میلیارد دلار از هند كالا وارد كرده و در مقابل 7.5 میلیارد صادر كرده است.

اگرچه در ابتدای دهه 80 تراز تجاری ایران و هند به نفع هندوستان مثبت بوده است، اما بررسی ها نشان می دهد در پایان این دهه یعنی سال 89 تراز تجاری به نفع ایران شده است.

ارزش كل مبادلات تجاری این دو كشور در مدت یاد شده نزدیك به 20 میلیارد دلار است.

در برابر نزدیك به 400 میلیارد دلار مبادلات تجاری ایران با سایر كشورها از سال 80 تا 89 سهم تجارت ایران و هند پنج درصد بوده است.

آمار ارایه شده در كنار سفر اخیر هیات اقتصادی از كشور هندوستان به ایران نشانگر این مطلب است كه تلاش آمریكا برای قطع روابط هند و ایران بی ثمر بوده و دو كشور بر توسعه همكاری ها تاكید دارند.

مقامات عالیرتبه هند از جمله وزیر انرژی و رییس بانك مركزی این كشور طی هفته های گذشته بارها و بارها اعلام كرده اند كه واردات نفت خود از ایران را كاهش نخواهند داد.

سفیر هند در تهران، مدیر كل وزارت تجارت و رییس انجمن فدراسیون سازمانهای صادراتی هند هم كه در قالب هیاتی اقتصادی به تبریز سفر كردند، بر توسعه همكاری ها تاكید داشتند.

این در حالی است كه 'نانسی پاول' گزینه انتصابی جدید 'باراك اوباما' رییس‌ جمهوری آمریكا برای عهده دار شدن سفارت واشنگتن در دهلی نو در جلسه سنای كنگره كه برای بررسی وضعیت تأیید وی برگزار شد، متعهد شده بود تمام تلاش خود را به كار بگیرد تا همكاری‌های ایران و هند را كاهش دهد.

وی در پاسخ به سووال سناتورهای آمریكایی درباره تحریم‌های نفتی جدیدی كه علیه ایران به تصویب رسیده است، گفته بود: چنین اقداماتی قطعا بخشی از نظام تحریمی ماست و امیدواریم میزان واردات نفت هند از ایران به میزان قابل توجهی كاهش یابد.

این در حالی است كه روزنامه آمریكایی 'وال استریت ژورنال' در گزارشی از رشد 37 درصدی واردات نفت هند از ایران طی یك ماه گذشته میلادی و در شرایطی خبرداد كه آمریكا تحریم‌های شدیدی را علیه بانك مركزی ایران و اتحادیه اروپا نیز تحریم‌هایی را علیه نفت ایران اعمال كرده بود.

در همین رابطه 'رابرت منندز' سناتور دموكرات امریكایی هم هشدار داده است كه بسیاری از شركت‌های هندی به دنبال شرایطی هستند كه به آنها اجازه دهد با ایران تجارت داشته باشند.

آمریكا همواره سعی دارد با تحت فشار گذاشتن متحدان خود و دیگر كشورهای جهان، آنها را به اجرای تحریم‌های یكجانبه علیه ایران مجبور كند، اما در بسیاری از موارد این تلاش‌ها ناكام مانده است.

این ها همه در شرایطی است كه مقامات آمریكایی در واشنگتن خود نیز به این امر اعتقاد دارند كه بدون ادامه تجارت با ایران قادر به ادامه حیات نیستند.

در این میان می‌توان به مقاله چندی پیش روزنامه 'نیویورك تایمز' اشاره كرد كه در آن به هزاران مجوز محرمانه وزارت خزانه داری آمریكا برای ادامه فعالیت‌های تجاری شركت‌های آمریكایی با ایران اشاره كرد.

به هر حال تصمیمات اتخاذ شده در راستای مبادله پولی بین هند و ایران در سفر اخیر هیات هندی به تهران و تبریز نشانگر عدم موفقیت سیاستمداران امریكایی در دور كردن هند از ایران است.

خبرگزاری غیرمتعهدها هم روز دوشنبه در گزارشی با اشاره به سفر هیات تجاری هند به ایران، نوشت: انجام چنین سفرهایی در شرایط موجود بسیار مهم تلقی می شود و دو كشور قصد دارند مبادلات تجاری خود را گسترش دهند.

به گزارش ایرنا از مالزی، این خبرگزاری در گزارشی با اشاره به اینكه ایران و هند همكاری های تجاری خود را گسترش می دهند، نوشت: سفر گروه 80 نفره از تجار و بازرگانان هندی به ایران در شرایط كنونی از سوی تحلیلگران اقتصادی و سیاسی بسیار مهم ارزیابی می شود.

روزنامه‌های چاپ امروز کابل عمدتا کشته شدن ۱۶ غیرنظامی در اثر تیراندازی یک سرباز آمریکایی در قندهار و هشدارهای رهبران اپوزیسیون افغانستان نسبت به مشارکت احتمال گروه طالبان در قدرت را بررسی کرده‌اند.

روزنامه محور در سرمقاله خود نوشته است که حادثه قندهار حادثه بدی است اما رویداد فوق‌العاده نیست و دلیل آن این است که هر روزه ده‌ها افغان کشته می‌شوند و در مواردی آنها حتی بسیار وحشتناک‌تر از این حادثه کشته می‌شوند، اما کسی در مورد سوال هم نمی‌کند.

روز یکشنبه، ۲۱ حوت/اسفند، یک سرباز آمریکایی در قندهار به روستایی نزدیک به یک پایگاه نظامیان آمریکایی رفت و به سمت غیرنظامیان آتش گشود. در اثر این تیراندازی ۱۶ غیرنظامی کشته شدند. مقام‌های آمریکایی گفته‌اند که در مورد این حادثه تحقیق می‌کنند.

روزنامه محور افزوده است: این‌که یک سرباز آمریکایی از پایگاه خود بیرون شود و در کنار پایگاه خود بیش از ده غیرنظامی را بکشد و بعد وارد پایگاه خود شود، نمی‌تواند تصادفی باشد. نویسنده تاکید کرده است که مردم خواهان محاکمه این سرباز آمریکایی هستند.

نویسنده در ادامه تاکید کرده است که حکومت افغانستان باید حسابش را با آمریکایی‌ها پاک کند. این روزنامه افزوده است: درست است که افغانستان از لحاظ اقتصادی نیازمند کمک‌های آمریکا است، اما جاده روابط باید دوطرفه باشد و آمریکا هم برای رسیدن به منافع استراتژیک خود در منطقه نیازمند همکاری افغانستان است.

محور با این مقدمه تاکید کرده است که دولت افغانستان باید در مورد امضای پیمان استراتژیک با آمریکا شرایط خود را مشخص کند و تدابیری سنجیده شود که از وقوع رویدادهای مشابه حادثه قندهار جلوگیری شود و در صورت وقوع از مجراهای قانونی پیگیری شود.

روزنامه باور ملی این حادثه را "وحشیانه" خوانده و نوشته است که این نخستین بار نیست که آمریکایی‌ها با شلیک گلوله افراد بی‌گناه را در افغانستان می‌کشند، بلکه به نوشته روزنامه، نیروهای ناتو و آمریکایی پیش از این در حملات هوایی و شبانه خود هم باعث کشتار غیرنظامیان شده‌اند.

نویسنده در مورد خبرهای منتشر شده درباره این که سرباز عامل کشتار غیرنظامیان در قندهار دچار اختلال روانی است، شک و تردیدهایی را مطرح کرده و افزوده است که ممکن است کسان دیگری هم در این کشتار شرکت داشته باشند.

باور ملی در ادامه تاکید کرده است که سرباز عامل کشتار غیرنظامیان در قندهار باید به صورت علنی محاکمه شود تا مردم افغانستان بدانند فردی که افراد بی‌گناه را کشته است، محاکمه می‌شود. نویسنده از دولت افغانستان خواسته است که در این زمینه گام‌های جدی بردارد.

روزنامه ماندگار در مطلب صفحه اول خود با عنوان "برای پس از ۲۰۱۴ آماده باشیم"، از قول احمدضیا مسعود، معاون پیشین رئیس‌جمهور و رهبر جبهه ملی نوشته است که "باید مجاهدین اتحاد خود را حفظ کنند و برای (مقابله با وضعیت) پس از سال ۲۰۱۴ میلادی با حفظ تشکل نظامی خویش، در مقابل حوادث قابل پیش‌بینی بایستند."

قرار است نیروهای بین‎المللی مستقر در افغانستان تا سال ۲۰۱۴ میلادی به صورت تدریجی از این کشور خارج شوند. تا آن زمان مسئولیت امنیتی در سراسر افغانستان به نیروهای داخلی واگذار خواهد شد.

آقای مسعود در نخستین سالگرد ترور عبدالرحمان سیدخیلی، فرمانده پیشین پلیس قندوز گفته است: "حکومت موجود که به رشوه‌خواری در سطح جهان مشهور است، نمی‌تواند در مقابل گروهی‌که انگیزۀ مذهبی دارد، بجنگد. فقط مجاهدین می‌توانند در مقابل حرکت‌های دشمنان افغانستان بایستند. بعد از آن‌که در سال ۲۱۰۴ خارجی‌ها از افغانستان بیرون ‌شوند، هیچ تضمینی برای تداوم وضعیت موجود وجود ندارد."

به نوشته ماندگار همچنین عبدالله عبدالله، رهبر ائتلاف ملی افغانستان، در این مراسم مصالحه با طالبان را "معامله" خوانده و گفته است: "با کمال وضاحت می‌گویم، هیچ نوع معامله پشت‌پرده را چه از سوی خارجی‌ها صورت بگیرد و یا از سوی دولت افغانستان، چون به قیمت خون شهدا و پامال کردن آرمان آن‌ها تمام می‌شود، مردم نخواهند پذیرفت."

روزنامه وحدت در تیتر اول خود از قول محمد محقق، رهبر حزب وحدت اسلامی مردم و عضو ارشد جبهه ملی، نوشته است که "دولت افغانستان در حال طالبانی شدن است". آقای محقق همچنین هشدار داده است که "به احتمال زیاد طالبان دوباره به قدرت خواهند رسید".

آقای محقق در مراسم هفدهمین سالگرد قتل عبدالعلی مزاری، رهبر پیشین حزب وحدت اسلامی، گفته است که او نگران ورود طالبان در قدرت است. این عضو مجلس افزوده است: "مردم افغانستان سلاح خود را (پس از روی کار آمدن نظام کنونی) تسلیم کرده‌اند و در صورت ورود طالبان، مردم با مشکل جدی برخواهند خورد."

روزنامه وحدت همچنین از قول این رهبر جهادی نوشته است که دولت برای ترویج "تفکر طالبانی" تلاش دارد و اذهان مردم را آماده گرایش‌های طالبانی می‌کند. آقای محقق ضمن تاکید بر این‌که با گفتگو با گروه طالبان مشکلی ندارد، گفته است که اگر طالبان خواهان مصالحه هستند، باید قوانین افغانستان را بپذیرند.

روزنامه افغانستان با اشاره به "نگرانی‌ها" پس از سال ۲۰۱۴ میلادی، نوشته است که "نیروهای خارجی در حالی از افغانستان خارج می‌شوند که نیروهای نظامی و امنیتی افغانستان به هیچ صورت قادر نیستند به تنهایی در مقابل تهدیدهای داخلی و خارجی ایستادگی نمایند. نیروهای نظامی و امنیتی افغانستان از جهت آموزش، تعداد و تجهیزات نقاط ضعف بسیاری دارند."

نویسنده با تاکید بر این که "نیروهای بین‌المللی در جنگ علیه تروریسم و بازسازی افغانستان به اهداف خود نرسیده‌اند"، نوشته است که "از یک سو دولت افغانستان در حد قابل قبولی تقویت نشده و از سوی دیگر میزان توانایی و جنگ‌افروزی طالبان نیز افزایش قابل توجهی داشته است."

سرمقاله‌نویس روزنامه افغانستان معتقد است که مایه نگرانی اصلی، نفس خروج نیروهای خارجی نیست، بلکه "کارکرد حکومت" افغانستان است. به باور نویسنده، دولت به راحتی و بدون دغدغه به طالبان "امتیاز" می‌دهد. به نظر این روزنامه، "سیاست‌های دولت سبب شده است تا طالبان از گروهی شکست‌خورده به یک نیروی قابل توجه در مقابل دولت افغانستان تبدیل شود."

كمیته امداد امام خمینی(ره)، همزمان با آغازین روزهای پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی در 14 اسفند 1357 با حكم امام خمینی(ره) بنیانگذار انقلاب اسلامی در ایران آغاز به كار كرد. این روز درحقیقت تاسیس رسمی این نهاد مردمی بود چرا كه شكل گیری غیر رسمی این نهاد به سال های قبل از پیروزی انقلاب یعنی سال 1342 باز می گردد در آن روزها با توجه به اینكه انقلابیون زیادی در زندان های رژیم پهلوی به سر می بردند، امام تعدادی از یاران خویش را مامور رسیدگی به‌ خـانواده زندانیـان سیاسی و مبارزین كرده بود.

اقدامات حمایتی این افراد در زمان اوج ‎گیری انقلاب اسلامی یعنی سال های 1356 و 1357 كه مبارزات امت مسلمان سرعت و وسعت بیشتری یافته و اعتصاب ها همه جا را فرا گرفته بود‌، سیر صعودی یافت.

با پیروزی انقـلاب شكوهمند اسلامی و آغـاز فعالیت مجـدد بخش های اداری، اقتصادی و فرهنگی كشور، لـزوم حـمایت از نیازمندان در صـدر برنامه‎های نظام قرار گرفت و كمیته امداد امام‌ برای مدت نامحدود، به منظور تحقق بخشیدن به اهداف عالیه نظام جمهوری اسلامی ایران و در جهت حمایت محرومان و مستضعفان و خودكفا كردن آنان‌، شكل گرفت.

كمیته امداد، به عنوان نهادی انقلابی، از نوع مؤسسات غیرانتفاعی و عام المنفعه به حساب می آید كه مركز اصلی آن در تهران است و در تمامی نقاط ایران اعم از شهرها و روستاها و حتی خارج از كشور نیزشعب خاص خود را دارد.

شورای مركزی این نهاد مسئولیت كل كارها و امور را برعهده دارد و پس از رحلت امام خمینی(ره) تحت نظر مستقیم مقام معظم رهبری قرار دارد.

از فعالیت های كمیته امداد امام می توان به، ارائه خدمات فرهنگی كه شامل فراهم آوردن تسهیلات و امكانات لازم برای ادامه تحصیل دانشجویان، طلاب و دانش آموزان تحت پوشش این نهاد، یافتن محرومان و امداد به آنها در حدّ ضرورت، برای رفع محرومیت آنان، از طریق اعطای وام و ایجاد كار مناسب، اقدام در جهت رفع درد و رنج خانواده های نیازمند در مناطق مختلف كشور از طریق معالجه و كمك های آموزشی، درمانی و مالی و آمادگی نسبی برای جبران نارسایی هایی كه در مناطق مختلف كشور، در مقابله با مشكلات و حوادث وجود دارد، اشاره كرد.

با توجه به اینكه امام خمینی (ره) توجه ویژه ای به محرومان داشتند، درباره یاری به محرومان چنین می فرمودند: 'همین محرومین به مملكت خدمت كردند و قیام كردند و با دست همین طبقه این نهضت به این جا رسیده. این یك مطلبی است برای ما و برای هیچ كس پوشیده نیست كه آن طبقه ای كه این نهضت را به ثمر رساندند، آن طبقه محروم، از زن و مرد بود. این هایی كه در خیابان ها ریختند و با صدای اللّه اكبر و با مشت فشرده و با ایمان، اعتنا به قدرت های شیطانی نكردند، همین زن های محترم و مردهای عزیز محترم بودند كه از طبقه محروم در آن رژیم بودند. این ها هستند كه از این به بعد باز تكلیف دارند، یعنی همه تكلیف داریم'.

مقام معظم رهبری نیز در دیدار با مسؤولین كمیته امداد امام (ره)، امدادرسانی به نیازمندان را وظیفه اصلی و مهم كمیته امداد توصیف كردند و فرمودند: 'الآن مسأله فقر زدایی در كشور مطرح است؛ من از اینكه این قضیه مطرح شده است، خوشحالم. البته این كارهایی كه شده است، خیلی كمتر از آن است كه انسان با تمسك به آن ها بتواند بگوید كه ما فقر زدایی خواهیم كرد، یافقر زدایی خواهد شد. نه، فقر زدایی اساس مستحكم تری لازم دارد؛ امّا این كارها نیز بسیار مغتنم است...در اینجا كمیته امداد، نقش كشوریِ بزرگی پیدا خواهد كرد. اصلاً هدف همین مبارزه ای كه چند سال است ادامه دارد، اینهاست. ما می خواهیم گرسنه نباشد. ما می خواهیم كسی از گرسنگی رنج نبرد.'

كمیته امداد امام خمینی(ره) از بدو تاسیس تاكنون خدمات ارزنده ای را به محرومان جامعه كرده و بستر ساز خدمات فراوانی به این قشر ضعیف شده است. این نهاد فعال و انقلابی كه با ایده و درایت معمار كبیر انقلاب شكل گرفت، توانسته است از آغاز كار تاكنون، گام های موثری را در مسیر محرومیت زدایی در جامعه بردارد.

منصور هادی در انتخاباتی بدون رقابت در یمن بیش از 99 درصد آراء را از آن خود کرد

باراک اوباما، رییس جمهوری آمریکا از سوگند یاد کردن رییس جمهوری جدید یمن به مثابه‌ "آغازی تازه" برای این کشور استقبال کرد.

آقای اوباما گفت ایالات متحده "یاری ثابت‌قدم" برای یمن در گذارش به دموکراسی خواهد بود.

او هم‌چنین از سوی آمریکا بابت کشته شدن بیست و شش نفر در حادثه ماشین بمب‌گذاری شده در جنوب استان حضرموت یمن تسلیت گفت.

این حادثه تنها چند ساعت پس از آن رخ داد ‌که عبد ربه منصور هادی، رییس جمهوری تازه، در مراسم تحلیف ریاست جمهوری در صنعا پایتخت یمن سوگند یاد کرد. آقای هادی جانشین علی عبدالله صالح شد که پس از چند ماه اعتراضات و تظاهرات مردمی از قدرت کناره گرفت.

آقای اوباما گفت "تحت رهبری آقای هادی، یمن بالقوه می‌تواند الگویی باشد برای این‌که وقتی مردم در برابر خشونت مقاومت کنند و برای آرمانی مشترک متحد شوند، گذار صلح‌آمیز ممکن خواهد بود."

رییس جمهوری آمریکا افزود: "این هفته، میلیون‌ها یمنی به رییس جمهوری تازه و آغاز فصل نویدبخش نونینی در تاریخ یمن رأی دادند". باراک اوباما گفت: "مردم یمن توانستند آغازی تازه برای کشور خود رقم زنند، اما هنوز کارهای بسیاری در پیش دارند".

وی افزود: "من به رییس جمهور هادی گفتم تا زمانی که مردم یمن به تلاش خود برای ساختن آینده‌ای روشن‌تر برای کشور خود ادامه‌ می‌دهند ایالات متحده در کنار آن‌ها خواهد ایستاد».

شاهدان در شهر مکلا، در جنوب شرقی استان حضرموت، گفتند که این بمب‌گذار انتحاری به سوی یکی از قصرهای ریاست جمهوری راند و سپس نزدیک در ورودی ماشین را منفجر کرد.

بیشتر کشته‌شدگان از اعضای نخبه گارد ریاست جمهوری بودند. مقامات امنیتی می‌گویند که این حمله نشانه‌های حملات القاعده را داشته است.

خبرنگاران می‌گویند القاعده و جدائی‌خواهان جنوب هر دو در این منطقه فعال‌اند.آقای هادی در سخنرانی خود در مجلس یمن که از تلویزیون هم پخش می‌شد وعده داد مبارزه با گروه‌های مسلح را ادامه دهد.

او تنها نامزد انتخاباتی بود که روز سه شنبه برگزار شد و بیش از 99 درصد آراء را در یک رقابت بلامنازع به دست آورد.

این انتخابات در پی توافقی میان کشورهای همسایه یمن صورت گرفت تا به بحران چندماهه پایان دهد.

اقای صالح که برای سی و سه سال در قدرت بود، به طور رسمی قدرت را در روز دوشنبه در مراسمی به رییس جمهوری جدید واگذار خواهد کرد.

یمن سال‌هاست عرصه تاخت و تاز شورشیان است. جنبش جدایی‌خواهان در جنوب و شورشیان شیعه در شمال این کشور فعال‌اند. هم‌چنین تأثیر القاعده نیز روز به روز در این کشور بیشتر می‌شود.
